JONATHAN M. ESP

Jonathan M. Esp is a partner at West & Dunn, where he represents individuals and businesses in personal injury, business litigation, and other civil disputes. Jonathan’s practice is built on two guiding principles: protecting his clients’ interests and finding practical solutions that move them forward. Whether helping an injured client recover after an accident or advising a business through a complex contract or ownership dispute, Jonathan approaches every case with focus, integrity, and a commitment to excellence.

Before joining West & Dunn, Jonathan practiced with several respected Wisconsin law firms, where he gained extensive experience representing multinational companies in employment law, construction disputes, real estate matters, and commercial litigation. His diverse background allows him to see issues from multiple angles — and to craft strategies that balance legal precision with real-world impact.

A first-generation college graduate and proud Waunakee resident, Jonathan is deeply connected to the community he serves. Outside the office, you’ll find him coaching his kids’ sports teams, staying active with CrossFit, or upland bird hunting with his Labrador retriever, Piper.
