Nicole Navin
Partner
Nicole Navin is a partner at West & Dunn focusing on veterans’ disability law. She brings nearly two decades of legal experience in military and federal service, with a deep, personal commitment to advocating for veterans. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater before enlisting in the United States Air Force, where she served as a Chinese linguist. After four years of active duty, Nicole attended Florida State University College of Law to pursue her passion for law and justice.
Following her retirement from the Air Force in 2022, Nicole joined the Department of Veterans Affairs as an attorney advisor with the Board of Veterans’ Appeals. While there, she gained invaluable insight into the VA claims and appeals process — experience that now directly benefits the veterans she represents. Motivated to make a greater impact, she transitioned to private practice where she now focuses exclusively on helping veterans navigate the complex VA disability claims system and secure the benefits they’ve earned.
Originally from Kenosha, Wisconsin, Nicole now lives in Las Vegas, Nevada. In her free time, she enjoys playing tennis and spending time with her two golden doodles, Kona and Hudson.
Nicole is licensed to practice law in the State of Hawaii.
