Attorneys Shana Dunn and Travis James West of West & Dunn have been honored by Super Lawyers Magazine as a 2017 Rising Stars. Ms. Dunn has been rated as the top lawyer in military and veterans law, and Mr. West has been rated the top business litigation attorney in the Waunakee area.
Super Lawyers annually selects attorneys for both the Super Lawyer and Rising Star awards using a process that incorporates peer nominations, evaluations, and independent research. No more than five percent of the total lawyers in any given state may be selected to receive the Super Lawyer honor. To receive the Rising Star award an attorney must meet all of the criteria required for the Super Lawyer recognition, plus be under the age of forty or have practiced law for less than ten years. No more than 2.5% of the lawyers in any given state may be selected to receive the Rising Star honor. This is seventh consecutive year that Mr. West has received Rising Star distinction, and the first year that Ms. Dunn has been awarded the Rising Star distinction.
