Kenosha County Homeless Veterans Stand Down And Veterans Celebration

On Saturday, November 2, 2019, West & Dunn participated in the annual Kenosha County Homeless Veterans Stand Down and Veterans Celebration at the Kenosha County Jobs Center. The event included free breakfast and lunch for veterans, a ceremony honoring veterans from different war time periods, breakout sessions on veterans benefits and suicide prevention, live music, and family activities. Opening remarks were delivered by James H. Mukoyama, Jr., a Chicago native who was the first Asian-American to command a U.S. Army Division. Homeless veterans and veterans at risk of homelessness were provided with winter coats, duffel bags, and other supplies.
