As part of their ongoing effort to broaden the range of services available to their respective clients, West & Dunn and the Letendre Group are proud to announce the formation of an “Of Counsel” relationship between the firms. This Of Counsel arrangement will allow both firms to collaborate in serving clients with a wide variety of legal needs and will create strategic links between their networks of attorneys and other professionals who provide a range of needed services to both individuals and businesses, while allowing WD to continue to maintain its particular focus on assisting the veterans of the United States armed forces.
West & Dunn was formed by Shana Dunn and Travis James West on August 1, 2016. It was borne from their mutual frustration over the inaccessibility of quality legal services to an ever-increasing number of individuals and small businesses. This problem was particularly apparent with regard to their experiences assisting veterans of the United States armed forces with claims and appeals pending before the US Department of Veterans Affairs, many of whom were struggling to understand the VA’s complicated systems with no legal help. The firm started in a small, two-room office above the Lone Girl Brewing Company on Main Street in Waunakee, Wisconsin. It quickly outgrew its original space. Today West & Dunn offers a robust array of legal services from lawyers experienced in their respective practice areas, proudly serving clients locally in Dane County, throughout Wisconsin, across the nation, and internationally. In addition, the firm has grown to become one of the Midwest’s biggest providers of legal services to veterans pursuing disability claims within the VA’s process.
Letendre Group was founded in 2019 by Benoit Letendre with a mission to provide competent, focused legal counsel to business and municipal clients with uncompromising integrity. Its goal has been, and remains, to foster and maintain long-term relationships with clients, and to serve as their resource of first resort for day-to-day legal questions and concerns. When LG identifies a legal issue requiring additional expertise, it is backed by an extensive network of trusted professionals to ensure that its clients’ legal and business objectives are met.
