Patrick R. Campbell
Associate Attorney
Patrick R. Campbell is an Associate at West & Dunn, focusing his practice on criminal litigation. Prior to joining the firm, he concentrated on criminal defense, representing clients in matters before Municipal, State, and Federal courts.
During law school at the University of Wisconsin, Patrick worked as a law clerk for Judge Ralph Ramirez in Waukesha County Circuit Court. In his second year of law school, he joined the Prosecution Project clinic and interned in the Portage County District Attorney’s Office. Upon graduation, Patrick began work as an Assistant District Attorney in Sheboygan County, before returning to Waukesha to work as a prosecutor in the District Attorney’s Office. In that role, Patrick tried dozens of cases, ranging from traffic matters to arson, sexual assault, and robbery.
Patrick previously worked as a defense attorney in both Milwaukee and Madison, handling a broad range of felony and misdemeanor cases. Patrick’s first jury trial as a defense attorney was an OWI case that resulted in an acquittal. Patrick is committed to justice for his clients and works tirelessly to achieve the best possible result for every client.
Outside of the courtroom, Patrick is a Board Member at CelticMKE, home of the annual Irish Fest in Milwaukee. He also enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, as well as cooking and traveling.
